"Donette On A Stick"

The original Wilshire alumni group will be meeting at the southwest corner of 2nd Street and Brown Avenue for the parade which starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends roughly around 12:00 p.m.

Vantage Point:  2nd Street & Brown Avenue.

Great thing about this location is that the Scottsdale library is close by and a great place to park.

Alumni Karen Shaw (1981) and Raoul Zubia (1979) will be announcing at the parade at Brown Avenue and Main Street.

If you are on Facebook, there is an event for alumni to participate in the parade created by Don Chavez (CHS 1985).  Link:  PARADA DEL SOL - LET'S MARCH.

Mark Zubia (1985) will be performing at Old Town Tavern 11:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Trails End Celebration (12:00 to 5:00)

The annual Trails End Celebration is presented by Scottsdale Downtown. The party will begin immediately following the Parada del Sol Parade. The Trail's End party takes place in Old Town Scottsdale on 1st Avenue, between Brown Road and Scottsdale Road. This is a huge block party for all ages, including the kid's area with games, pony rides and much more.  There will be many food and merchandise vendors located throughout the area.  You won't want to miss checking out the hundreds of original shops located in the Scottsdale Old town/Downtown area.
